We love a particular place here. Just at the foot of the mountain, 10 mins away is La Cascade Du Morel. An amazing waterfall that is part man made. A tunnel re-directs part of a river through the mountain and it exits from a tunnel some 70m in the air. The water then drops down 42 steps. Walks here are beautiful at any time of year
Skiing
165 km of slopes accessible in 2 minutes from the Chalet
Located near the Parc de la Vanoise in Savoie, Le Grand Domaine includes the resorts of Valmorel, Saint-François-Longchamp, Doucy and Celliers. A sunny ski area with 165km of pistes
Just 30 minutes away by car is the famous Courchevel with access to the full 3 Valleys area with 650km of pistes and all of the famous towns
A little further at 1.5 hours is Val D'Isere and Tignes. Well worth the drive
La Plagne and Les Arcs are just 30-40 minutes away also
